On arrival to the school the headmaster will introduce you to the school and together you can decide on your timetable and the most appropriate programme for you. In general if you have more experience you can launch straight into taking lessons and if less experienced you can find yourself working as a classroom assistant or helping those who need extra attention.

Volunteer : ORPHANAGE PLACEMENT

Help to:
* Maintain children in the orphanage by giving them the necessary care and attention as their mothers would have given them. This is achieved by feeding, bathing and ensuring general cleanliness of the children
* Keep the girl and boys dormitories clean, plan extra-curricular activities, physical education, music and culture, indoor and outdoor games, morning and evening studies, organize excursions and so on
* Organize children for extra-curricular activities such as sports and games etc.
* Organize children fro extra classes after school This is where orphaned children come to spend time with other kids in the same situation.

The centre offers them an opportunity to forget about their troubles and spend some quality time in a fun and educational environment.

Volunteer : SPORTS COACHING PLACEMENT

Sport volunteer work, program abroad, overseas in Ghana, Africa is an entertainment and physical development volunteer opportunity, work to help explore hidden talents of children, youth in Ghana. Sport activities/athletic has not been given much attention in rural Ghana since agriculture has dominated or overshadows sport.

Friends of Binaba Foundation believes that rural folks possess special hidden talents in sports activities for instance, football, volleyball, netball, tennis ball, basketball and when given the opportunity will explore of which will also develop them physically, socially and cognitively.

 

Volunteer : MEDICAL / HEALTH PLACEMENT

Napoleon, Medical health/aid volunteer work program in Ghana Africa is a volunteer opportunity abroad, overseas initiated by Friends of Binaba Foundation to raise the standard of health/medical care delivery in rural Ghana, Africa.

Rural Ghana which constitutes 60% of the total population suffers from poor medical/health treatment. This is due to lack of basic medical/health delivery materials for instance medicines: paracetamol, aspirin, hospital beds, gloves, plasters in rural health centers.
